The work explores the delicate strength of glass as a final object, as well as its use as a therapeutic tool. The pieces above were created in a time of travel and self discovery. I tried to create region-less patterns for the humans like me who don’t totally know where they come from.

Because the work cultivates slowly over time Cat uses it as a visual diary; colorful confirmation of personal growth. Each piece can take days, months, and even year to make as they can consist of hundreds of individual pieces just waiting to find the rest of their pattern.
