Most people wouldn’t think of glass as soft but this piece as been sanded and pumiced by hand for hours to create a velvet texture and gentle glow. Made from the stiffest blue glass in the world the raised pattern is still bright even after all the surface treatment. This piece was made as part of my “Please Touch the Glass” series and is an experiment in blending textures.
