I am what we in the arts call “a purple person”, we are a proud sect of people who love purple enough to make it a part of our personality. This is part of my “The Feeling of Color” series where I can create texture by using the different chemical make up of each shade of purple because they all have a different melting point.  They are meant to allow the visually impaired to feel what they may no longer be able to see. These color are pulled into varying cane and murrini, cut, fused into sheet and then brought back into the hotshop. The entire surface has been pumiced by hand  12” x 9”
