As someone who suffers from SAD I have been trying to make a point of finding beautiful things that bring me joy as the seasons cool. We were lucky this Fall to have such a mild change, usually in upstate New York the beautiful colors of Fall are gone by late September. I was able to look out my studio windows into our maple trees all October while the sun set over the mountain. It’s the little things that keep us going. This is the largest of all my current pieces. 14”x10”
