This piece draws inspiration from the warm glow and folklore of the Strawberry Moon. The moon has been depicted as a beautiful woman, a celestial goddess through countless cultures and timelines . I recently discovered that the whole time the moon has actually been protecting Earth by pulling space rocks into her orbit; craters and stretch marks evidence of her care for us. The moon is a woman and her scars are beautiful. Strawberry Moon reflects a moment of softness in the vastness, where space age patterns and the divinely feminine drift together in orbit.
