This small piece was just given back to my care after an extended stay at The Corning Museum of Glass where many were able to enjoy her colors. “Spot” is only a 7 1/2 inch sphere but she is full of color and texture. .

The original reason for this piece was as part of my collection “Please Touch the Glass”  where I was dealing with the very beginning of my vision loss, and that I could no longer see the difference in pinks and yellows with my worse eye. 

The pink and citrine murrini remind me of strawberry lemonade while the raised murrini are a connection of tiny, trippy patterns that feel like moss or plant cells.
